MM9 History
A Monday Morning Beginning
MM9 was founded on Monday Morning, 9th January 1995, a moment that shaped both our name and our philosophy. MM9 is not an abbreviation-it represents the belief that every journey begins with a decisive first step. With this mindset, we began as a dedicated IT services provider.
Strengthening Capabilities Through HP Partnership
In 1998, we entered a strategic partnership with HP, enabling us to deliver HP hardware and make strong inroads into Print Infrastructure, End User Compute, and related IT hardware solutions. This milestone expanded our portfolio significantly and laid the foundation for our long-term specialization across multiple IT domains.
Becoming an HP Service Centre
We evolved into an authorized HP Service Centre in Gurgaon, equipping us to offer certified repair, warranty, and maintenance services with OEM-backed expertise.
Expanding into Infrastructure Services
MM9 transitioned into a broader IT infrastructure solutions provider, becoming a Novell partner and delivering services for server rooms, backend environments, and enterprise technology landscapes.
HP Enterprise Partnership
Our enterprise focus deepened as we became an HP Enterprise Services Partner, expanding into servers, storage, and enterprise infrastructure deployments.
Launch of the IT Security Division
We established our dedicated IT Security Division to help customers secure networks, endpoints, and data centre operations-embracing cybersecurity early in its evolution.
Strategic Organizational Restructuring
In March 2015, we restructured the organization into **four specialized verticals**, each led by experienced teams:
- End User Compute
- Enterprise IT Infrastructure
- Enterprise & CSG Services
- Managing & Securing IT Infrastructure
This helped sharpen our domain expertise and improve service delivery.
Diversifying the End User Compute Portfolio
We expanded the depth and breadth of our End User Compute offerings, strengthening our multi-brand endpoint capabilities to support varied workforce requirements across industries.
Expansion into Networking & AV Collaboration
We expanded into Active and Passive Networking, building robust and scalable connectivity backbones for our customers.
In 2024, we formalized our AV & Collaboration department, integrating our capabilities in video conferencing, immersive AV environments, and modern workplace collaboration—enabling us to support complete workplace transformation journeys.
