Behind every new workspace is a purpose, and for a large Australian company’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) in the BFSI space — one of the world’s leading financial services organizations — the move to expand their office within DLF Downtown, Gurugram, was about more than just having more room. It was a step towards building a future-ready environment: one that could fuel collaboration, improve and innovate customer experience, meet global standards, and support the organization’s presence across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Context

To support its global growth strategy and meet the accelerating demand for digital banking and financial services, a large Australian BFSI organization established its Global Capability Centre in Gurugram, Haryana.

Positioned at the heart of India’s thriving technology and operations ecosystem, the centre plays a key role in enhancing the organization’s ability to deliver faster, more personalized services to its customers. Moreover, it also serves as a dynamic space where high-performing professionals come together to drive innovation, shape new ideas, and build impactful digital solutions.

The center is housed in a LEED Platinum Certified building, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern amenities that reflect the organization’s forward-looking and sustainable values, along with its commitment to empowering both customers and communities. Overall, the Global Capability Centre has seen rapid expansion, acting as a strategic extension of the organization’s global teams.

To further strengthen their expansion and purpose in India, the organization decided to scale its office space within DLF Downtown. This is where MM9 played a key role. Let’s understand our collaboration so far.

The Collaboration

Our journey began with the supply and delivery of headsets and IT accessories for the organization’s growing workforce in India. Additionally, MM9 acted as a catalyst in helping the India-based teams explore technologies that would best fit the evolving needs of their office environment.

What started as simple headset and IT accessories provisioning soon expanded into a broader engagement, with MM9 supplying enterprise-grade network infrastructure for the organization’s extended office, in collaboration with two leading networking technology providers—Cisco and Juniper.

For this project, MM9 supplied a robust stack of enterprise-grade networking solutions to support the organization’s vision of a digitally empowered and collaborative workspace. The equipment featured Cisco Catalyst 9500 and 9300 series switches for high-performance connectivity, C8300 edge routers to deliver secure and optimized WAN services, and a range of high-speed SFP transceivers to enable efficient data transmission. To ensure reliable, enterprise-grade wireless coverage across the office, Juniper Mist AP45 access points with AI-driven capabilities and cloud-based management were deployed. Together, these technologies laid the foundation for a secure, scalable, and future-ready IT infrastructure aligned with global enterprise standards.
